But thanks for telling me how to fix the problem. They were imported, but where are the pixels? Rats. Unfortunately, the ones that were not visible before still are not visible. Photos that I just took and imported are visible, so the problem is fixed, and I thank you for that. I can see all my older photos regardless of format. When I import them into LR I can see them for a moment and then they go black. Thing is, none of my photos taken with my new camera (Olympus E-PL7), all filed in the new Raw folder, are visible, regardless of format. And I created another folder called "JPG," with the idea that when I wanted to use any of the photos I would do final editing and save them as JPG. So I created another folder under Raw called "Tiff", thinking after I minimally processed my raw photos I would convert them to tiff files. On January 11 I created a new folder called "Raw." I decided to be a grown-up and start shooting raw. After several frustrating hours I got my Lightroom updated to LR6.8 but the problem still occurs.
